AMD Phenom ii X6-1055T cpu.....ATI Radeon HD -5770 gpu......is dis config good for gaming?

STARCRAFT 2 - WINGS OF LIBERTY is d priority game as of now...|||Video games have become much more dependent on the Graphics card than actual processors for a while now. The AMD 6 core processor is more than adequate, if you could get a slightly cheaper processor to get a slightly more expensive GPU it would be better but the 5770 is 21st on the PassMark high end GPUs which is pretty good. Configuration should work very well and when you decided to upgrade, you wouldn't need to do anything with your AMD Phenom, just upgrade the Radeon 5770 later.|||Not so much.

I'd advise the following my good PC gaming fellow...

A Phenom II X4 3.4Ghz 965 Black Edition AM3 QUAD Core (I have a 955BE 3.2ghz stock) get some decent water cooling (Domino ECO Over Corsair H50, see reviews for details). ECO beats H50 by anywhere up to 6 degrees on overclocks and is quite ahead on stock clocks) Don't believe me readers? I'm sure you can use google. Don't go with Corsair just because it's called Corsair. Also, Domino have learnt from the stupid block and fastenings of the Domino ALC. Eco is golden.

Then get 2x 5770s.

Then you'll have literally a 5870 under the hood. Some crossfire performance and then you can OC that quad to 4Ghz and you're truly golden. Get yourself some sweet ram and and nice case mate and you'll piss on Starcraft.

OH starcraft only yeah, it'll do just fine. But you'll probably get better performance on Crysis with the above setup. No doubt.|||any new game is gonna require a lot of power and r.a.m. make sure you have the correct amount of both Since most game boxes tell you the required amount of ram and power and the least if not sure call your pc manufacturer and tell them what you want the pc to do and they can tell you what you need or if you want call 1800the city and they can tell you what you need like ram and power supply and graphics you need|||That's a great set up....You can play that game pretty much maxed out...I run the 1055T and ran 1 5770 and I played all my games(BFBC2 and MW2 on high settings)..So starcraft will play great.....Maxed out those games when I ran them in Crossfire, something to keep in mind if you have a board that supports Crossfire...

Scott|||Yes it is but make sure you get lots of high quality memory or you risk getting a bottleneck. I would get at least 4gb domintators to start.|||Grab 4GB ram too =o itll run it on ultra.|||this will max it out yes blahblahblah
