If not then, with which cards can it do Hybrid CrossfireX??|||you can crossfire any amd/ati card as long as they are the same generation i.e both 5xxx or 6xxx... you cannot crossfire a 5xxx with a 6xxx though. Both have to be the same generation cards
Ex. you can crossfire a 5970 with a 5870 etc... or a 6990 with a 6970 etc.
you cannot however crossfire a 5970 and a 6990... this wouldn't do.|||According to ATI you can crossfire the 5770 with a 5750. You cant crossfire out of series like the 5600 or 6800 series. see here...http://sites.amd.com/us/game/technology/… Hybrid X is also listed but it looks like in works on certain chip set ans low end cards.|||As far as I remember you need to crossfire with the same model.
But I've never actually gone through with setting up a crossfire (or SLI) so I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure I'm not.
