i am going to buy a new graphic card....
on my MoBo it is written pcie 2.0 x16
hd 5770 needs pcie 2.1x16..
will that be any problem...
my current graphic card is nvidia 8400gs ddr3 1gb|||No problem at all. PCI-E devices are backwards compatible all the way back to PCI-E 1.0.|||No problem at all.
However, since the slot is 2.0 and it is a bit slower than the 2.1, you may not be able to get your graphics card to work to its fullest. But since it's only .1 back, there's not going to be a significant difference.|||of course you can, 5770 requires pcie x16 slot and there is no problem with pcie 2.1 x16 as it backwards compatible which can support pcie 2.0 x16
so don't worry you can use this card|||No there will be no problems, the pcie x16 interface is forwards and backward compatible, you can put any Pcie x16 device in any x16 slot regardless of version number|||No, you wont face any problems. Its backward compatible.
And also get the HD 6770 instead of HD 5770. Its the revised version of HD 5770 and costs the same.
