ATI Radeon Hd 5770 Driver Problems?

Okay, so I've been trying to update my video card drivers to play minecraft. However, when I download it, even thought I could play Minecraft, the driver makes my screen smaller then the actual monitor - i.e, there is a 1 inch border of black around the display screen.|||go to game maincraft then find options or setting then look for video then look for you resolution and put it to maximum. this will work if you use step by step main instruction if you don't know how to do this look for help on youtube with video maybe you will understand. ;)
