AMD RADEON 5770 HD PERFORMANCE?

I want to know whether the AMD Radeon HD 5770 1GB GDDR5 can play games like Crysis 2/Battlefield Bad Company 2 at HD resolution(1920x1020)?

I have heard from 1 person or 2, that this card struggles at HD resolutions. What do they mean by struggle?

Can this card play games(new-crysis 2, hawx 2, nfs, gta IV) smoothly at 1920x1020 resolutions?

Should I go for a 1600x900 resolution monitor?

The aspect ration of the monitor is 16:9 and screen sixe 21.5".|||The 5770 won't run BC2 at 1080p or better resolution with maxed out detail level, it's simply not quite powerful enough for that. Buy "Struggle" they mean that the frames per second will drop down significantly in demanding scenarios.

The 5770 is mid level card, it's a good value for money, But it's not a top tier card. It'll struggle with Crysis 2 at "hardcore" detail level as well. With that said it should play BC2 or Crysis 2 decently at mostly medium settings, with no AA and limited amounts of AF. Also keep in mind BC2 is also very CPU intensive. You'll need a fast quad core (3Ghz+) to get the most out of it.|||Look at the charts at TomsHardware. It's the most recommended site for hardware comparison.
