i have a chance to buy one of these cards asus en gtx 275 896mb ddr3 vs Sapphire ati radeon hd 5770 1gb gddr5 and i want to know which one is better?|||The GTX 275 is worth $80 used. $100 will get you a GTX 285.
The 5770 is comparable to the GTX 260 in terms of raw performance. In fact, the 216 core GTX 260 is a little bit faster. The GTX 275 is 20% faster and the GTX 285 is 30% faster.
The 5770 does have 2 advantages. First it can play games in DX 11 mode while all GTX 200 cards can play at DX 10 at the most. Second, the 5770 consumes less power.
$100 used from ebay is too much. You can buy the 6770 for $110 new at newegg.com with free shipping.
